Black Thistle Caledonian Pipe Band is a world class pipe band that has competed and performed across the United States, including a command performance for Vice President,
Dick Cheney, and in the World Championships in Scotland.
Black Thistle Pipe Band is Orlando and Central Florida’s premier pipe band. Under the direction of Ken Mauchin, the band has been successful in the competition circuit, earning four “Champion Supreme” titles since 1999.
Black Thistle Caledonian Pipe Band is availbale for hire to perform for any size occasion, from a sole piper to the entire band. The band is available for engagements, such as weddings, meetings conventions and memorial ceremonies.
We meet Thursday's at 7:00 PM behind the Sanford Chamber of Commerce in Historic Old Town... We have members from St. Augustine, Gainesville, Celebration, and Orlando.
